Fifteen years ago, World College Radio Day began as a dream to unite college radio stations and amplify student, local, and independent voices worldwide. Today, over 1,000 stations in 58 countries have joined this annual celebration—without paying anything to participate. For 15 years, our entirely volunteer-run College Radio Foundation has poured heart and soul into making this event a force for positive change in the radio industry.
This work has only been possible because of passionate supporters like you. But as we continue to grow, so do our costs—and we remain chronically underfunded. That’s why, for our 15th anniversary, we’re inviting you to be a part of our story.
Will you help us reach 15 more years, by donating just $15 in honor of our 15th anniversary? For companies and organizations, we hope you’ll consider an even larger gift to help sustain and expand this movement. You might consider being a sponsor of College Radio Day, for example.
Every dollar supports:
- The ongoing operation of the College Radio Foundation, who oversee the annual CRD and Vinylthon events
- Free WCRD programming and promotional support for participating college radio stations
- Contuining advocacy for the important medium of college radio
Your generosity has kept World College Radio Day thriving against all odds. We hope you’ll stand with us again, so we can continue inspiring the next generation—together.
We hope you will make a $15 donation and we’ll be happy to send you a small anniversary package in appreciation!
Thank you for being part of our legacy and future.
With gratitude,
Rob Quicke
