We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Queen Ezliabeth II.
We remember her kind letter, sent to Dr. Rob Quicke, founder of the College Radio Foundation, in July 2019.
The occasion was the Alternatives2019 conference in Cambridge, England. In the letter we received from Buckingham Palace, we were told:
“Her Majesty appreciated your thoughtfulness in wiriting as you did, and in return, has asked me to send her warm good wishes to all concerned for a most successful conference and enjoyable World College Radio Day.”
We send our condolences to the royal family and thank Her Majesty for her service and leadership for millions of people.
