World College Radio Day is just a few weeks away — Friday, October 2!
Student and college radio stations around the world are invited to join this massive global celebration of college radio — and, most importantly, the students and volunteers who keep it alive.
This year, we want college radio to stand together and send a simple message of hope to the world: you are not alone.
College radio reaches places others don’t. We tell stories others overlook. We create programming that wouldn’t exist anywhere else. And we do it with something increasingly rare in today’s media landscape: authenticity, community and genuine human connection.
That’s why World College Radio Day matters.
On October 2, stations across countries, cultures and time zones will come together to celebrate what makes college radio so special — and to remind the world that our voices matter.
Our theme this year is HOPE – ALWAYS IN THE AIR!
