Contest will award an Omnia.11 audio processor to a U.S. college station
Cleveland, Ohio – February 26, 2026 – Cleveland’s Telos Alliance, pioneers in broadcast technology for 30 years, loves college radio.
“College radio has always held a special place in our hearts because so many of us got our start in the industry at a college station,” says Jim Armstrong, Audio Production Senior Director of Sales for the US & Canada. “We’ve got former on-air personalities, Chief Engineers and radio station staff at every level of our company who credit college radio with igniting their love for the medium.”
“We’ve gotten a lot of support from college and university radio stations over the years,” Armstrong continues. “Right now, times are tough. Funding is tight, and college stations often can’t spend it on needed equipment. We’ve already dropped the price of Omnia.11 FM_HD to $9,995 for a limited time, but we’d like to help even more.”
To do so, Telos Alliance is partnering with the US-based, non-profit College Radio Foundation (www.collegeradio.org), originators of the popular College Radio Day event which occurs each fall, to give a top-of-the-line Omnia.11 FM_HD audio processor worth over $10,000 to a deserving college station located in the USA.
“Many broadcast engineers began at college stations,” Armstrong explains. “Audio processing techniques are important skills to have – and having a high-end Omnia.11 audio processor to work with will provide a great leg up in honing those skills.”
Omnia.11, the market-leading Omnia® audio processor from Telos Alliance for FM, HD and DAB, is used by commercial and public radio broadcasters worldwide to give their stations the bigger-than-life, market-leading sound that listeners love.
The contest is easy to enter: students, faculty, and staff at college radio stations in the USA can submit their entry online; all that’s needed is a quick paragraph explaining why their college station needs a new Omnia.11.
“We’re so happy to partner with Telos Alliance,” says Rob Quicke, founder of the College Radio Foundation. “It’s wonderful that companies and people in our industry see the value of supporting college radio stations in the same way we do.”
The contest is open now; entries will be accepted until midnight, April 10, 2026, at www.telosalliance.com/collegeradio, at which time the winning entry will be selected by the College Radio Foundation and announced at NAB 2026.
