Northern Colorado Listenership Rises
with Addition of Netcasting

Go to KSRX

You don't have to like a specific music type or even Colorado to enjoy the vibes of KSRX, University of Norhtern Colorado, Greeley. This student-run radio station keeps you entertained with quirky shows, extensive music mixes, and 24-7 availability.

KSRX is able to reach as close to home as a TV and as far away as the power of the internet allows. A simple click on the website allows for online listening.

KSRX began Internet broadcast in June of 2000, and since then, the station has been watching its popularity rise. "We have recently been keeping more track of our web site hits as we actually have people visiting it regularly now to listen live and to find out more about us," said KSRX General Manager, Jonathan Kraft. The site boasts more than 3,000 hits per month.

KSRX also features a professional web site design created by Terry Carter. "The props go to him [Carter], " said Kraft.

Also worth checking out are the on-air schedule, local band links, and DJ profiles. Skim the times of the many offered programs, check out the local flair, and see the college students who are running the station (they have pictures, lots of them).

Another important aspect of the station's success is sponsorship. Along with student supporters from the University of Northern Colorado, KSRX is sponsored by ColoradoLinks.NET, which is a part of LoneCat Productions. A commercial sponsor is crucial for survival and competition on the Internet, said Kraft.
